The society holds regular meetings in both London and Birmingham.  In addition, other activities take place from time to time to enable members to meet and discuss subjects of interest.

London meetings are held at the premises of the Model Railway Club, Keen House, Calshot Street, N1, 18.45 for 19.00, on the first Wednesday of each month from September to June. Tea and coffee are available before the meeting.

5th October 2011 LONDON - Giant’s Causeway and Bessbrook & Newry Tramways - 7pm - Robin Linsley of the Irish Railway Records Society                         

2nd November 2011 LONDON - Annual General Meeting - 7pm

7th December 2011 LONDON - Signalling the Thameslink Line - 7pm - David Larkin will give an illustrated talk in which the different styles of signalling currently in use on one important route are explored.

1st February 2012 LONDON - German U-bahn - 7pm - Brian Hardy,  The ERS President returns to talk on U-bahns in Berlin, etc with a look at the Schweberbahn in Wuppertaal.

7th March 2012 LONDON - San Fransisco - 7pm - Ian Gledhill gives an illustrated talk
