Membership InformationSociety subscriptions were discussed at length at the recent Society AGM and the members present decided that the subscription should rise in 2008 to £15 for UK members. Although the Society broke even during the past year this was due to the excellent level of book sales and exhibitions etc. The subscription covered the cost of producing the magazine until a few years ago but there is now a significant shortfall. The Committee had recommended a 50p increase in the subscription to take account of increased postal and paper costs but the members present decided to apply a greater increase since they felt that the magazine had been increased in size and quality and therefore this should be reflected in the subscription level. From 1st March 2008 therefore the subscription will be £15 for members in the United Kingdom.
